(The India Experience)
We went in and the cool nice smell of soft air welcomed us. looking in, my friend and I saw the most amazing sweets shop we have ever seen in the city of unpleasant roads, the city of unpleasant smells, the city of unpleasant dust, the city of unpleasant noises and crowds.
Cardamom is my favorite spice, and I re-discovered it in India.
I love its smell, freshly green as well as browny dry, varied in a dish or as part of black coffee. The first thing I found out in India was that there is cardamom tea! and it is delicious!
!!Marvelous
In Munar, the area of tea plantation in south India, I actually visited Cardamom plantations, what a delight, but that's in another story.

while walking in the shop we looked at different wedding sweets (Besan laddu, Gulab jamun, Kaju katli and so many more with silver and gold ornaments)continued looking at salty small beautiful dishes and nuts. And at the people who are nuts for nuts not missing the ice cream section.
People were all smiles....
Might be for the sugar!
Stuff of the shop were handing out for us to taste a milky drink, unfortunately neither of us really wanted to finish it...
Only there were no seats, two small rounded and high tables.....we stood nearby them.
Did you ever got to be curious of the origin of our body scent even your own (not only when you sweat)?
while my visit I realized that I am losing my original scent...it was a frustrating notion since I knew that it is contradicts my love for experiencing food.
Our body delivers its main smells out of what we put in it...it is so natural that each culture will be with its own perfumes which suits it food culture.
When I tried Indian perfumes (and I did, quite many) their scent was so strong that I could not walk long with it without feeling dizzy... I am used to eat half of the Indian spices at home, spicy as well, but still there is the other half...and there was "a war" in me for becoming another "smelly me"...until one night when I couldn't sleep, I discovered that I cannot sleep without "the real me". I was awake all night thinking how I changed my mind, changed my language, changed my menu and my surrounding smells eventually there is a change in me....
Still, entering the food delicatessen shop was an oasis in a street of noises without stop and dust with no limit. and we certainly went for the ice cream, with a heat of 27C outside.... It became an habit of mine to take the spice ice cream since it must be the most natural to the place... and it was sensual, creamy, tasty and cold as I wished it to be.
A good refreshment just before going to try the "Sari" on.....
